Brian Asamoah had planned to announce his college choice on April 21. Did a recent offer from Notre Dame change that?
Ohio linebacker Brian Asamoah announced on Feb 24 a top six that included Cincinnati, Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh, UCLA and West Virginia.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder from St. Francis DeSales High School also indicated plans to announce his college choice on April 21.
A recent offer from Notre Dame could change that.
"This offer really means a lot to me," Asamoah told Scout.com's Bill Greene. "I will have to get with my support system to discuss whether my top-six needs to be reworked. As of right now, April 21 remains my date to make my commitment."
Asamoah visited Notre Dame for the Irish's Oct. 29 game against Miami.
He was very high on the Irish early in the recruiting process and Notre Dame is expected to work its way into Asamoah's reconfigured list of favorites.
